Marianne Keating
(b. 1980 Tipperary).
Marianne Keating is a printmaker working predominantly in screen-printing, combining photography, drawing and digital media. Using a range of techniques from drawing and painting to etching and screen- printing, she makes art that draws on familiar, everyday objects, filling them with symbolism, a touch of subversion and a little perverse wit.
Marian Keating has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Ireland and internationally including exhibitions in Canada, Hawai, New York and China. In 2010 she will show at Center for the Arts, Buffalo, New York and has a touring show from the Doswell Gallery, Cork, that will travel to Berlin.
